Kirk Books are a result of 25 years of teaching, writing and testing by pianist, composer and teacher Laura Styer Kirk. The series is designed to provide the essential volume of logically sequenced and pedagogically sound reinforcement that is required to truly master reading and artistic skills in all keys. It is designed to alleviate frustration and foster the student’s independence from the need to be “taught” each piece of music. The books have been tested by Ms. Kirk and other teachers over a period of years. They have been continuously rewritten based on the subsequent feedback.
